Set up an email account in Outlook, Gmail or your phone
Mailbox hosting supports IMAP and POP3 for receiving and SMTP for sending, all over SSL/TLS.
Settings you need
Your service page lists the exact incoming and outgoing server names for your mailbox. You will enter:

| Password | The mailbox password |
| Incoming (IMAP) | Server from your service details, SSL/TLS |
| Outgoing (SMTP) | Server from your service details, SSL/TLS, authentication on |
Use the ports your service page shows; the usual secure defaults are IMAP 993, POP3 995 and SMTP 465 or 587.
IMAP or POP3?
Choose IMAP — it keeps mail synchronized on every device. POP3 downloads mail to one device and is only useful for special cases.
Outlook / Thunderbird / Apple Mail
Add an account, choose manual setup / IMAP, and enter the values above.
Gmail app or Gmail on the web
Add another account → Other / Personal (IMAP) and enter the same values.
Webmail
You can also read mail in a browser through the webmail link in your service details.
Not connecting?
Check the username is the full address, SSL/TLS is on, and the password is right. Open a ticket if it still fails.
