Minecraft Performance vs Budget: Every Plan and Price, Compared
A single, accurate table of every Minecraft plan RepublicNodes sells across both the Performance and Budget lines — specs, pricing, and what actually changes between them.
Minecraft Performance vs Budget: Every Plan and Price, Compared
We run two separate Minecraft lines — Performance and Budget — and it's not always obvious from the store which one a given RAM amount belongs to, or what you're actually trading off by picking Budget. Here's the full picture in one place, pulled straight from the live catalog.
Performance Line
Runs in Singapore or India, higher CPU allocation and more databases/backups/ports across the board.
| Plan | RAM | CPU | Disk | Databases | Backups | Ports | Price (1 month) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Grass | 2 GB | 100% | 6 GB NVMe | 3 | 4 | 4 | ₹119.99 / $1.26 |
| Dirt | 4 GB | 200% | 12 GB NVMe | 3 | 4 | 4 | ₹239.99 / $2.70 |
| Stone | 6 GB | 250% | 16 GB NVMe | 3 | 4 | 4 | ₹359.99 / $4.00 |
| Iron | 8 GB | 300% | 19.5 GB NVMe | 3 | 4 | 4 | ₹479.99 / $5.35 |
| Gold | 12 GB | 400% | 29.3 GB NVMe | 3 | 4 | 4 | ₹719.99 / $8.00 |
| Diamond | 16 GB | 450% | 39.1 GB NVMe | 3 | 4 | 4 | ₹959.99 / $10.69 |
| Netherite | 32 GB | 600% | 39.1 GB NVMe | 3 | 4 | 4 | ₹1,919.99 / $20.00 |
| Bedrock Netherite | 48 GB | 700% | 160 GB NVMe | 3 | 4 | 4 | ₹2,879.99 / $30.00 |
(Despite the name, Bedrock Netherite is a Java Edition plan like the rest of this line — "Bedrock" here refers to the in-game block, not Bedrock Edition. It's our largest Java tier, built for big modpacks or heavily-plugin'd networks.)
Budget Line
Runs on our dedicated Budget node, lower CPU priority, fewer databases/backups/ports at the low end — meaningfully cheaper for the same RAM.
| Plan | RAM | CPU | Disk | Databases | Backups | Ports | Price (1 month) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Dirt | 2 GB | 80% | 6 GB NVMe | 1 | 1 | 2 | ₹59.99 / $0.60 |
| Stone | 4 GB | 160% | 12 GB NVMe | 1 | 1 | 2 | ₹119.99 / $1.40 |
| Iron | 6 GB | 220% | 17.7 GB NVMe | 1 | 2 | 3 | ₹179.99 / $2.00 |
| Gold | 8 GB | 300% | 24 GB NVMe | 2 | 2 | 3 | ₹239.99 / $2.55 |
| Diamond | 16 GB | 450% | 48 GB NVMe | 3 | 3 | 4 | ₹479.99 / $5.10 |
The Budget line tops out at Diamond (16 GB) — there's no Netherite-equivalent tier there. If you need more than 16 GB, Performance is the only line that goes higher.
What Actually Differs, Beyond the Price
- CPU% — Performance plans get more CPU per RAM tier at the low end (Budget's cheapest tiers like Dirt/Stone get proportionally less CPU than their Performance equivalents).
- Location choice — Performance plans can be placed in Singapore or India; Budget runs on one dedicated node.
- Databases/backups/ports at entry-level — Budget's cheapest tiers (Dirt, Stone) get 1 database and 1 backup slot; Performance gives every tier 3 databases and 4 backups from the bottom up. This matters if you're running Discord-linked plugins (economy, stats) that need their own database, or you rely on frequent automatic backups.
Picking a Tier
Match RAM to what you're actually running, not player count alone:
- Vanilla/lightly-plugin'd SMP, ≤15 players: Grass/Dirt (2-4 GB) on either line.
- Plugin-heavy server (economy, land claims, custom mechanics), 20-50 players: Stone/Iron (6-8 GB) — Performance if you want more databases/backups included.
- Modded (Forge/Fabric with a real modpack) or a busy public server: Gold/Diamond (12-16 GB) minimum — modded Minecraft's RAM appetite comes from loaded chunks and entity count more than player count.
- Large network (BungeeCord/Velocity with multiple backend servers) or a heavy modpack: Netherite or Bedrock Netherite.
Not sure which fits? Open a ticket with your plugin/mod list and expected player count and we'll point you at the right tier before you buy. Performance plans → · Budget plans →
