How Server Listing Boosts Work, and What They Cost
Want your server to actually get seen on the Server List? Boosts push your listing higher in the directory — here's exactly how they work and what they cost.
How Ranking Works Without a Boost
Unboosted (free) listings are shown ordered by newest first, below every boosted listing. Submitting a listing is always free — a boost is entirely optional, only relevant if you specifically want more visibility than the default ordering gives you.
The Tiers

Higher-paying boosts rank above lower ones — a Gold boost shows above every Silver and Bronze listing, a Silver above every Bronze, and any boosted listing shows above every unboosted one.
How to Buy One
- Go to My Listings.
- Find your approved listing (boosts can only be purchased on listings that have already passed review) and click a tier under Boost this listing.
- You're taken to a normal invoice — pay it through any of our supported payment methods, exactly like paying for a hosting plan.
- The moment that payment clears, your boost activates automatically and your listing's ranking updates immediately.
What Happens When It Expires
A boost lasts 30 days from activation. When it expires, your listing simply drops back to the unboosted tier (newest-first ordering) — it isn't removed from the directory, it just stops getting the ranking priority. You can buy another boost anytime, including before the current one runs out, to keep continuous visibility.
Can You Stack or Upgrade?
If you buy a higher tier while a lower one is still active, the higher tier takes priority for ranking purposes. There's no need to wait for one to expire before buying a better one.
Is Boosting Worth It?
Entirely depends on what you're trying to get out of the listing — if you're actively growing a community and want maximum visibility during a launch or a big update, a boost genuinely puts you in front of more browsing eyes than the default ordering would. If you're just listing casually, the free tier still gets you real, permanent visibility in the directory.
