How to Apply a Coupon Code at Checkout

Got a discount code from a promotion, an affiliate, or a seasonal sale? Here's exactly where it goes and how it actually applies.

Where to Enter It

1. Add the product/plan you want to your cart.
2. On the Cart page, look for the Coupon field in the Order Summary panel.
3. Type or paste the code exactly as given (coupon codes are typically case-sensitive) and click Apply.
4. If valid, your subtotal updates immediately to reflect the discount before you proceed to checkout.

What Can Make a Coupon Not Work

• Typos — copy-paste it directly where possible rather than retyping.
• Expired or already-used-up codes — coupons can have a usage cap (total redemptions) and a per-customer cap; once either limit is hit, the code stops working for anyone new even if it looks otherwise valid.
• Product restrictions — some coupons are scoped to specific products or categories rather than applying storewide.
• One-time vs recurring — most coupon codes apply a discount to the first payment only; your renewal invoices afterward bill at the normal, undiscounted price unless the specific coupon is explicitly set up as recurring (rare, and would be stated clearly if so).

Stacking and Combining

Generally, one coupon applies per order — if you have multiple codes, they typically don't stack together on the same purchase. If a specific promotion says otherwise, that'll be called out explicitly in the promotion's own terms.

Where Coupons Actually Come From

We don't publish a running list of active codes on the blog — codes circulate through seasonal promotions (like our periodic Monsoon-style sales), affiliate partners, and specific community/creator partnerships. If you're expecting a discount and don't have a code, check where you were told about the offer (a creator's post, an email, a Discord announcement) — that's usually where the actual code lives.

After Checkout

Once an order is placed, a coupon's discount can't typically be applied retroactively — if you completed checkout and then remembered a code, that discount usually can't be added after the fact. If something looks genuinely wrong (a valid code that failed to apply for no clear reason), open a support ticket with the order details and the code you tried — that's something support can look into directly rather than something to keep retrying blindly.
