What Happens When a Service Is Suspended for Non-Payment

Missed a renewal? Here's the exact, real timeline — not a vague "you might lose access eventually."

The Actual Timeline

1. Your renewal invoice is generated about 7 days before your service's expiry date, giving you a window to pay ahead of time.
2. If it's still unpaid at expiry, your service keeps running for a short grace period — currently 2 days past expiry — in case it's just a delayed payment or you need a moment to sort it out.
3. After that grace period, the service is suspended. It stops running, but nothing is deleted yet.
4. If it stays unpaid while suspended, it's automatically terminated (deleted) 14 days later — so from the original expiry date, that's roughly 16 days total before data loss becomes real.

What "Suspended" Actually Means

• The server/service is stopped and inaccessible — you can't start it, and it won't run.
• Your files, world data, databases, and configuration are not deleted — they're preserved exactly as they were.
• You can still log into your RepublicNodes account and see the suspended service, its invoice, and pay it.

Getting Un-Suspended

Just pay the outstanding invoice. Once payment is confirmed, the service is automatically unsuspended and picks back up — no ticket needed, no waiting on a human, for a normal payment through any of our supported gateways.

What Happens If It Actually Gets Terminated

This is the part that matters most: termination means the server and its data are genuinely gone, not recoverable. The Best Way to Avoid This Entirely

Turn on Autopay — it exists specifically so a missed manual renewal never turns into an actual suspension in the first place. If your payment method is valid, you genuinely don't have to think about this timeline at all.
