The full purchase flow explained: picking a plan, choosing a location and game type, paying, and what happens the moment your invoice is marked paid.
How to Buy a Server on RepublicNodes, Step by Step
Buying a server shouldn't feel complicated. Here's exactly what happens from the moment you land on a plan page to the moment your server is live.
1. Pick a Category and Tier
Every product line (Minecraft, Rust, PalWorld, CS:GO/GMod/TF2, VPS, Web Hosting...) has two tiers: Performance and Budget. Performance plans run on premium hardware with more CPU per GB of RAM and more backup slots; Budget plans are the same NVMe storage and DDoS protection at a lower price, sized for smaller communities. Pick the plan whose RAM matches what you actually need โ the plan page lists RAM, CPU %, and disk for every tier so you're not guessing.
2. Choose Your Options at Checkout
Depending on the product, checkout shows a few real choices, not filler:
- Server type โ on Minecraft plans you pick Paper, Vanilla, Forge, Sponge, Velocity, BungeeCord, PicoLimbo or Pumpkin up front. On the Source Games plans you pick CS:GO, Garry's Mod or Team Fortress 2. On Rust you pick the mod framework: vanilla, Oxide or Carbon.
- Location โ where your server physically runs (this changes your ping to players, not the price, unless a location has an explicit surcharge shown on the option itself).
- Hostname and SSH key (VPS only) โ optional, set at order time or later from the panel.
- Billing period โ monthly, 3, 6 or 12 months. Longer periods are cheaper per month.
3. Pay
We accept UPI, cards and net banking through Razorpay (INR), PayPal (USD), and BTC/LTC for customers who prefer crypto. Payment is processed immediately โ you get a real invoice, and you can see its status (pending, paid) any time from Invoices.
4. What Happens the Second Your Invoice Is Paid
For game servers and VPS, this is the part most hosts don't explain: the moment your invoice status flips to paid, our system automatically picks a node with enough free capacity in your chosen location, reserves that capacity so two orders can never double-book the same resources, and creates the actual server on the panel โ no human clicks a button. This typically takes well under a minute. Dedicated Servers are the one exception: because that's real, individual hardware, our team provisions and verifies it manually, and the listing tells you the expected delivery window before you buy.
5. Manage It
Once it's ready, open Services โ your server โ Manage for the full control panel: console, file manager, backups, databases, network info, startup settings, and (for Minecraft) plugin/mod installation and version switching. Everything from here on is self-service โ you don't need to open a ticket to restart your server or check a log file.
