How to Switch Your Storefront Currency

RepublicNodes prices in both INR and USD, and which one you see depends on a simple currency switcher — here's how it works and what changing it actually affects.

How to Switch

Look for the currency selector in the site's top navigation (usually shown alongside the language selector, something like "EN | INR"). Click it and pick the currency you want — the whole storefront, product pricing, and cart update immediately to reflect it.

What It Actually Changes

• Every price shown across products, plans, and add-ons switches to that currency's actual price — not a live-converted estimate, but the real price we've set for that currency (which is why INR and USD totals don't always divide out to a "clean" exchange rate; they're independently priced).
• Which payment gateways are available — Razorpay (UPI, cards, netbanking) is for INR; PayPal is for USD. Switch currency, and the checkout options change to match what actually makes sense for that currency. See our full payment methods guide.
• New invoices going forward — once you check out in a given currency, that service bills in that currency for its lifetime (renewals, upgrades, add-ons all stay consistent).

What It Doesn't Change

Switching the storefront currency does not change the currency of a service you already own. An existing INR service keeps renewing in INR even if you switch your browsing currency to USD to look at other products — the two are independent.

Picking the Right One

• INR: if you're paying via UPI, Indian debit/credit cards, or netbanking — the natural choice for most Indian customers, and the currency most of our coupon promotions are denominated in.
• USD: if you're an international customer paying via PayPal, or specifically want USD-denominated billing for accounting/currency-stability reasons.

A Practical Note

If you're buying multiple things and want your billing to be simple and consistent, pick one currency and stick with it across purchases — mixing INR and USD services under one account is completely supported, but it does mean tracking two separate sets of invoices and renewal amounts rather than one.
