Install WordPress in one click

Install

1. Open your web hosting control panel.
2. Find the WordPress (or one-click app installer) icon.
3. Choose your domain, set a site title, an admin username and a strong, unique password.
4. Install, then log in at yourdomain.com/wp-admin.

First-hour checklist

• Settings → Permalinks: choose Post name.
• Delete unused themes and plugins.
• Update WordPress, themes and plugins.
• Install one caching plugin (LiteSpeed Cache works particularly well on LiteSpeed hosting) and one security or firewall plugin — not several of each.
• Set up automatic backups.
• Add a contact form with an SMTP plugin so mail actually arrives — see Send email from your website with SMTP.

Keep it healthy

Update weekly, remove abandoned plugins and never use "nulled" themes — they are a common source of malware.
