Point a subdomain at your server

The Subdomain tab creates a DNS record for you so players can join with a name instead of an IP and port.

Create one

1. Open Subdomain.
2. Type the name you want in the box — the domain that follows it (for example .republicnodes.in) is shown next to the field.
3. Press Create.

What gets created

• A CNAME record pointing your name at your server's node address.
• For Minecraft Java servers, an SRV record as well, so players don't have to type a port.

The note under the field shows exactly which address and port it will point to.

Rules

Use letters, numbers and hyphens only (up to 63 characters). Names are first come, first served, so pick something distinctive.

Removing it

Enter the same name and use the remove action to delete the records.

Propagation

New records usually work within minutes but can take longer on some networks. If it doesn't resolve yet, wait and try again before recreating it.
