Upload, edit, rename and organize server files

Open the Files tab to browse your server like a normal file manager.

Navigate and edit

Click a folder to open it and use the breadcrumb bar to go back. Click a text file (.yml, .json, .properties, .txt, .log and similar, up to 2 MB) to open the built-in editor, then Save.

Upload

Press Upload, choose one or many files, and watch the progress bars. Uploads go directly to your server node, so large files don't pass through the website.

Create, rename, copy, delete

• + Folder creates a directory.
• The three-dot menu on any row offers Rename, Copy, Archive (for archives, Extract) and Delete. Rename works on every file and folder type.

Select many at once

Tick the checkboxes, or press Select All to select everything in the current folder. The action bar then lets you Archive, Delete or Clear the selection.

Archives

Archive a selection into a single file, or extract .zip, .tar, .tar.gz, .gz and similar archives in place.

Very large files or many files

For big migrations, use SFTP instead — the connection details are in the Settings tab. See Connect with SFTP.

Safety

Deleting is permanent. If you are about to change a lot, take a backup first.
